Pianist Ingrid Barancoski holds a prominent position in the Brazilian contemporary music scene. Her repertoire includes pieces from all stylistic periods, with a special interest in contemporary music.  In her programs she usually combines works from Brazilian contemporary music with Works from universal contemporary music, demonstrating contrasting and similar features in musical languages. She premiered more than 40 musical works, most of them dedicated to her by renowned contemporary Brazilian composers like Almeida Prado, Ricardo Tacuchian, Roberto Victorio, Guilherme bernstein, and Orlando Alves.
